Interpersonal struggles, including struggles in romantic and social relationships
Self-esteem difficulties, trouble with saying "no” and setting effective boundaries, feeling "stuck", or breaking negative patterns of behaviour
Women’s empowerment and mental health
*I approach psychotherapy from a sexual-orientation and gender affirming perspective.
With Whom do i work, Where, and how?
I am happy to offer the following therapy a variety of formats of therapy, depending on the needs of the client at hand:
I work with individual adults and youth**, as well as parents and families.
**Where clients are children under the age of 13, my preference is always to include parents in our work, at least periodically and while still respecting client confidentiality; this includes a parents-only session at the beginning of our work together.
“E-therapy”/online sessions, if appropriate, are offered to clients who prefer the flexibility that this format offers; a secure video-chat platform (NousTalk) is used for e-therapy sessions. Online sessions are generally held on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
In-person sessions are generally available on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, at 35 Main Street North, in Waterdown; I also am available for in-person sessions on Tuesdays, at The Oak Centre for Child & Family Psychology, in Oakville.
To schedule a brief complimentary consultation or to speak to me directly about working together, please feel free to contact me here. To discuss working together specifically through The Oak Centre for Child & Family Psychology, please feel free to contact the clinic directly.
